Principal’s Report
We hope everyone was able to enjoy the long weekend last weekend with more relaxed regulations regarding socialising. It is certainly great to see that we are able to do a little more together each week. As the easing of regulations are still uncertain we have made the decision to hold all Parent-Teacher interviews in the school hall or office area. Your child’s class teacher will confirm where your interview will take place at your designated time so please do not go up into the classroom areas, stay around the hall and office areas during these times.
Parent Teacher Interviews - Optional
Please feel free to make an appointment with your child’s class teacher for a face to face interview using the link below with the passcode b6euk. A separate note will come home with your child today explaining how to register for a face to face interview or choose a phone call interview if required. A separate school report will be sent home by Friday 3 July. The interviews are optional only, you do not need to make an appointment or request a phone call unless you would like an interview. Please do not attend the face to face interviews if you are sick on that day.

Bookings for the face to face interviews will be open from this Friday 12 June at 2.30pm.
Band Rehearsals
Thank you to all the students who are attending the school band rehearsals. We will be filming the sessions next week so as to provide a virtual school tour for interested families who wish to enrol in the school. We hope to have our school band ready to play at school for some performances next term. In the meantime, we will be creating some performances that can be viewed on our website.
Opportunity Class Applications - Year 4 Students
A separate note went home with all year 4 students last week explaining the online application process for Opportunity Class selection. Please ensure you have returned your expression of interest (green note) to your child’s class teacher by this Friday 12 June. Online applications are now open and parents need to apply by Friday 26 June. No late applications will be accepted.
Pick up and Drop off
The pick up and drop off point at the flagpole in front of the school has been very successful. Thank you to all parents and community members for making this such a smooth transition in the mornings and afternoons. Kindergarten and their siblings are still able to be picked up at 2.50pm so as to clear the area for the other students. Please ensure that you leave the school as soon as you have your children so as to clear parking spaces and traffic flow for other parents picking up children.
Parking in Driveways
Please do not park in the driveways of our neighbours during these pick up and drop off times. Some of our neighbours are very distressed at parents deliberately blocking their driveways whilst they pick up their children. Rangers will be patrolling the areas over the next few weeks to ensure that parents are obeying the parking regulations in place and parking legally during school times.
Please see attached brochure for the new signage around the school.
Thank you - School Fees
Thank you to all parents who have paid some or all their school fees. Now that the dance and gym programs are fully operational it is important to pay these providers as soon as possible. We hope to put on a modified K-2 dance concert next term whether it be virtually or in the school hall depending on restrictions. Please do not organise costuming at all at this stage as we are unsure what we will be able to do. Class coordinators will be notified of arrangements for a dance concert/expo when we receive more information towards the end of term. We probably will not have costumes this year at all and work on a more simplified model of our dance concert.
Additional Activities - Robokids, Lucid Music, Col’s Music, Eyeheart Science
Unfortunately, we are unable to have any of our additional programs running in lunchtimes or after school until further notice. The providers have sent out Expression of Interest forms to parents but we still have not been given any approval at this stage to host external programs. We will make our external providers aware of any changes to restrictions but it looks as though this will not happen until next term.
