Reports- 27 June
Next week the first semester reports will be sent home with students on Tuesday 27 June. They will also be emailed to parents. They are a summary of your child’s progress to date. Most students within a Stage cohort will receive a “C” achievement grade. A “C” grade is to be celebrated as this means that your child has achieved stage expectations in that area of learning.
Students only receive a “B” grade if they are working above grade expectations and are receiving extension work in this area. An “A” achievement is only given in consultation with the executive team if a student is working beyond stage expectations and have independent learning goals in this area of learning.
Students who are given a “D” grade are still working towards achievement of an outcome and may be receiving additional support to achieve this learning goal. “E” grading suggests that there has been limited progress in this area of learning and the students may require an individual program and support in this area.
Please keep and file these reports as they are sometimes required in the future, especially for high school entry or as a record of learning if students move schools.

K-2 Dance Showcase
Our spectacular K-2 dance concert will be Wednesday 28 June, with the dress rehearsal the day before on Tuesday 27 June. Information about the details of this concert will be sent home via Class Coordinators. Entry to the concert will be a gold coin donation.
This year we have decided to continue to separate the dance showcase into Early Stage 1 and Stage 1, due to the increase in audience members.
The Kindergarten dance showcase will commence at approximately 10:00am.
The Stage 1 (Years 1 & Year 2) dance showcase will commence at approximately 11:30am.
The students who participated in the dance concert have been invoiced $12.00. This cost covers costumes and props for their performance.
We ask that toddlers who attend the showcase be supervised and seated on an adults’ lap, due to the limited number of seats.
The school will not be filming the K-2 dance showcase this year. Unfortunately, parents and visitors are not allowed to film during the dance concert. Thank you for your understanding.
K-2 can’t wait to show off their incredible dance moves!
Mrs Kennedy, Miss Smyth and Miss Vanessa.
