Kindergarten Science
This term we have been learning about plants as living things! We closely examined the different parts of plants and discovered their special jobs. We examined leaves of all shapes and sizes, from glossy and broad to small and prickly and discussed how they suit different climates. We also learned that plants grow towards sunlight because it’s their food source! To see this in action, we created a maze for a climbing plant and were amazed when it found its way up to the light a week later. The highlight was the colour changing flower experiment—placing white flowers in coloured water and watching the petals transform as the stems transported the water. We were fascinated to see science happen right before their eyes!

Garden Club
Garden Club Springing into Spring!
Students are springing into spring with great enthusiasm, rolling up their sleeves to get our garden beds ready for planting. Excitement is growing as we prepare the soil and plan for a fresh crop of seasonal vegetables and flowers. It’s wonderful to see the teamwork, care and joy students bring to every step in the garden!
A huge thank-you to our wonderful P&C for funding and supporting our gardening adventures – the students’ smiles say it all!
